Rocket Lab to Attempt First Stage Recovery in Next Launch

Rocket Lab is set to launch seven satellites from New Zealand's Launch Complex 1, including four CubeSats for NASA's Starling mission, two CubeSats for Spire's weather intelligence constellation, and the Telesat LEO 3 demonstration satellite. Rocket Lab will also attempt to recover the first stage of the mission, marking their second recovery attempt this year. The Electron first stage will use Reaction Control Thrusters to orient itself and deploy a parachute for a soft touchdown in the ocean, where it will be recovered by ship.
