SpaceX successfully launched 22 Starlink satellites into orbit from Florida's Space Coast using a Falcon 9 rocket, marking the 69th orbital launch for the company in 2023. The rocket's first stage also landed on a drone ship at sea, making it the 10th successful landing for this particular booster. The Starlink megaconstellation now consists of nearly 4,800 operational satellites, with plans to deploy a total of 12,000 in low Earth orbit (LEO) and potentially another 30,000 in the future.
