SpaceX Set to Launch 22 Starlink Satellites from California and Vandenberg SFB

SpaceX is set to launch 22 Starlink internet satellites into orbit using a Falcon 9 rocket from California's Vandenberg Space Force Base. The launch is scheduled for December 8, with a two-hour window opening at 3:03 a.m. EST. The Falcon 9's first stage will attempt a vertical landing on the droneship "Of Course I Still Love You" in the Pacific Ocean. This will be the 13th launch and landing for this particular booster. The 22 Starlink satellites will be deployed into low Earth orbit about 62.5 minutes after liftoff. This launch will mark SpaceX's 91st orbital mission of 2023, surpassing its previous record of 61 launches in 2022.
