Cygnus spacecraft departs space station on Friday morning.

Northrop Grumman's Cygnus spacecraft, loaded with over 8,200 pounds of trash and other materials, is set to depart from the International Space Station on Friday at 7:20 a.m. EDT. The spacecraft will be monitored by Sultan Al-Neyadi, a United Arab Emirates astronaut conducting the first-ever long-duration spaceflight by a person from that country. The departure can be watched live on NASA Television, starting at 7 a.m. EDT.
