NASA satellite crashes in Sahara Desert.

NASA's RHESSI satellite, which was launched in 2002 to study the sun, reentered Earth's atmosphere and crashed over the Sahara Desert on April 19. Most of the spacecraft burned up, but some pieces were expected to make it to the ground. RHESSI was just one piece of the more than 30,000 pieces of space junk currently being tracked in Earth's orbit.
