SpaceX is set to launch a Starlink mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Thursday morning, just ahead of the scheduled Crew-8 mission. The launch window opens at 10:30 a.m. EST with favorable weather predicted, while the Crew-8 mission faces diminishing odds of good weather due to concerns over poor conditions in the ascent corridor. This will be the thirteenth orbital launch at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in 2024.
