SpaceX Adds 24 Starlink Satellites After Starship Flight Test

SpaceX launched 24 Starlink satellites aboard a Falcon 9 from Vandenberg Space Force Base, deploying them into low Earth orbit about an hour after liftoff. The mission, which used Booster 1100 for the eighth time, brings SpaceX’s active Starlink fleet to roughly 10,865 satellites. The launch followed a Starship test flight whose data supported NASA’s Artemis III plans, and it marked SpaceX’s 87th Falcon 9 mission of the year.
