SpaceX Expands Starlink Fleet and Capacity, While Amazon's Launch Faces Delay

SpaceX launched 22 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit, bringing the total number of Starlink satellites in orbit to 4,219 out of 4,543 launched. Meanwhile, Amazon's Project Kuiper, which aims to provide broadband access with a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low-Earth orbit, is facing further delays as the launch of its first two prototype satellites on ULA's Vulcan Centaur rocket has been postponed to this summer. Amazon received an FCC license to operate Project Kuiper satellites in 2020 and is required to deploy and operate at least half of its constellation by July 2026.
