Researchers studying quantum physics have explored the concept of time travel using quantum entanglement in a theoretical exercise. While no quantum particles actually traveled back in time, the researchers demonstrated that it is possible to probabilistically simulate closed timelike curves (CTCs) through quantum-teleportation circuits.
