Beware of the iPhone-Disabling Device: Stay Safe from DoS Attacks

A security researcher discovered that an off-the-shelf hacking device called Flipper Zero can render iPhones unusable by flooding them with pop-ups and causing them to reboot. The device, which can interact with various radio signals, including Bluetooth, has gained new features that allow it to launch attacks like this. Apple has yet to release a fix for this issue, so the workaround is to turn off Bluetooth, although this means losing functionality with Bluetooth devices like headphones and smartwatches. It remains to be seen if the Flipper Zero will be banned in the future.
