Canva’s Magic Layers turns flat AI outputs into editable, multi-layer designs

Canva has launched Magic Layers in public beta, a feature that splits a single-page PNG/JPG into editable layers so users can adjust individual objects, text, and graphics without re-prompting the AI. It works with any flat image (not just AI outputs) and preserves the original layout, aiming to outpace rivals like Adobe in layer separation.
