Photoshop gets a simplified AI toolkit with a new AI-Assisted Editor

Adobe is rolling out a beta update to Photoshop that introduces an AI-Assisted Editor—an optional UI that surfaces all AI features in a single toolbar, including a prompt-based image editor, background remover, AI image extender, and more, plus a markup tool to guide AI edits without text prompts. It also adds updates to Instruct Edit with Masks, leveraging Firefly Image 5 to understand the full image context so you can describe changes (like opening closed eyes or adding a hat) rather than marking every area.
