Xteink’s pocket e-readers gain Libby access through CrossPoint plug-ins

CrossPoint Reader’s plugin system now lets Xteink’s tiny e-readers load DRM-protected ebooks from Libby and Kobo. Users flash the CrossPoint firmware to X3/X4/X4 Pro, install the Plugin Store, and use the Protected Content plug‑in to handle ADE DRM via ACSM files. A free ByteBooks account (or an old Adobe Digital Editions account) and Libby access on another device are needed to authorize the reader, since Libby can’t be searched or borrowed directly on the e‑reader. Apps like Common Stacks can simplify borrowing and transferring Libby titles to the devices. Overall, this expands Xteink’s ebook options beyond DRM-free titles, making them more competitive with Kindle and Kobo.
