Pocket-friendly X4 Pro adds touchscreen and backlight, but software lingers as a drawback
Xteink's X4 Pro brings a touchscreen and a built-in light to its tiny 4.26-inch e-reader, improving navigation and night reading, but quirks linger in the software and the device relies on a magnetic pogo-pin USB-C connector; at $99 it’s the best portable option among Xteink’s models, and CrossPoint Reader firmware (part of the Free Ink project) will be available at launch to substantially improve the UI and reading experience.
