Multiple asteroids to pass close to Earth, including "city killer" asteroid.

An asteroid the size of over 22 tunafish, designated as 2023 DZ2, will fly extremely close to Earth on Saturday, making it the closest asteroid since 2019. The asteroid is estimated to be as much as 90 meters in diameter and will pass by Earth at a distance of around 175,000 kilometers. While there were initial concerns that the asteroid could collide with Earth, further calculations dismissed this possibility. Scientists are working on planetary defense efforts, including NASA's Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) Mission, to prevent an impact from a dangerous asteroid.
