Asteroids to Pass Earth This Weekend: NASA's DART Mission and House-Size Zoom.

NASA has reported that a 120-foot asteroid named 2023 MF1 is expected to come dangerously close to Earth today, June 25th, passing within 1.2 million miles at a speed of 63986 kmph. Although not classified as a potentially hazardous asteroid, any deviation from its set orbit could be catastrophic. NASA uses advanced technology, including the NEO Observations Program and telescopes like NEOWISE and the Arecibo Observatory, to track and monitor Near-Earth Objects (NEOs) that may pose a risk to our planet.
