"NASA Opens Applications for New Astronaut Class"

NASA celebrates the graduation of its newest class of astronauts, who are now eligible for flight assignments, and opens applications for the next round of astronaut candidates. The 10 graduates, selected from over 12,000 applicants, completed more than two years of rigorous training and may be assigned to missions to the International Space Station, future commercial space stations, and Artemis campaign missions to the Moon in preparation for Mars. The agency also highlights its partnership with the UAE in space exploration and invites interested individuals to apply for the next round of astronaut selections.
