NASA and SpaceX Receive Approval for Crew-7 Astronaut Mission to the International Space Station

NASA, SpaceX, and international partners have given the green light for the launch of the Crew-7 mission to the International Space Station (ISS). The three astronauts and one cosmonaut are scheduled to launch on Friday, August 25th, aboard the Crew Dragon Endurance capsule. The launch will be followed by a docking with the ISS on Saturday, August 26th. Prior to the launch, SpaceX addressed concerns regarding low-flow propellant isolation valves and the performance of drogue parachutes during the return sequence. The mission marks another milestone for SpaceX as it aims for a record year of spaceflight.
