NVIDIA's RTX PRO 5500 Blackwell Brings 84GB GDDR7 to Pro Workstations

NVIDIA today announced the RTX PRO 5500 “Blackwell” workstation GPU, packing 84 GB of GDDR7 on a GB202 die with 21,760 CUDA cores, a 416-bit memory bus and about 1,398 GB/s bandwidth. Designed for professional workloads, it supports MIG with an 84 GB single instance or two 42 GB instances, and carries a 600 W TDP in a rack-mount form factor with air or liquid cooling. It sits near the top of the RTX PRO line, between the RTX PRO 6000 and 5000, with pricing and availability details not yet announced.
