At least three tornadoes touched down in Chicago area’s south and southwest suburbs, causing widespread damage, uprooted trees, and power outages. Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights lost power and had roof damage; Tinley Park’s Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre was damaged; a fire in Frankfort was sparked by downed power lines.
