Cross-Border Conflict: Hamas and Hezbollah Engage in Attacks on Israel

Hamas militants fired 16 rockets from south Lebanon towards northern Israel, targeting areas south of Haifa, in response to Israel's aggression in the Gaza Strip. This marks the first time rockets from Lebanon have reached the south Haifa area during the current war. In addition, Hezbollah attacked Israeli military posts along the border with 14 shells and anti-tank missiles. Tensions have been high between Israel and Lebanon since the October 7 attack, with both sides exchanging attacks. The death toll in the Gaza Strip has surpassed 10,000, while casualties on the Lebanese side include 59 Hezbollah fighters and on the Israeli side, six soldiers and two civilians have been killed.
