Gaza's Healthcare Crisis: Hospitals Under Attack and Services Severely Reduced

National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi urged Palestinians in Gaza to avoid hospitals in the northern strip, claiming they serve as "terror headquarters" for Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Hanegbi suggested that Gazan civilians seek medical treatment in alternative hospitals in Egypt, the protected area in Gaza, or on hospital ships. The Israel Defense Forces stated that Hamas operates underground complexes beneath Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Hanegbi emphasized that Israel follows the rules of war and aims to protect civilians while carrying out its campaign against Hamas. He also called on Egypt to accept injured and sick Gazans for medical care.
