Israeli-Palestinian Clashes Leave Multiple Dead and Homes Destroyed
TL;DR
Palestinian clashes with Israeli troops in Nablus resulted in one Palestinian killed and others wounded as the military entered the city to demolish the home of a Palestinian gunman accused of killing an Israeli soldier last year. The troops responded with riot dispersal means and live fire at armed men, causing damage to several military vehicles. As a matter of policy, Israel regularly demolishes the homes of Palestinians accused of carrying out deadly terror attacks, touting the strategy as a deterrent.
