Putin's Troubles in Ukraine Continue to Mount.

The Ukrainian military continues to make gains in its counteroffensive against Russian-backed separatists in the Donbas and southern Ukraine, with over 7,000 Russian casualties reported since the start of the conflict. The Russian military is running out of men and is now attempting to subordinate all private military companies fighting in Ukraine to the Russian military, but the leader of the Wagner Group is pushing back against the plan. The Ukrainian forces have advanced about four miles and liberated more than half a dozen settlements, but are fighting without air superiority, resulting in more casualties for reconnaissance elements.
