Tensions Rise as Russia and Ukraine Clash with Western-Made Military Vehicles

Russia claims to have destroyed seven German-made Leopard tanks and five U.S.-made Bradley vehicles while repelling Ukrainian attacks over the past 48 hours. The Ukrainian President acknowledged that his military was engaged in "counter-offensive and defensive operations" while Russia's defence ministry said it had repelled more than a dozen Ukrainian attacks over the past day in three major directions. Russian military bloggers reported that Ukrainian forces briefly took several villages as Russian forces retreated to higher ground.
