Israel's Military Takes Down Key Hamas Financier in Gaza Airstrike

Israel's military has announced the elimination of Subhi Ferwana, a prominent Hamas financier involved in transferring tens of millions of dollars to the terrorist organization's military wing. The Israeli Air Force conducted a targeted strike in Rafah, Gaza Strip, using information from the IDF and Shin Bet intelligence agency. Ferwana and his brother operated a money exchange company called 'Hamsat' through which funds were transferred to Hamas. The IDF stated that these funds were used to intensify military forces, pay terrorists' salaries, and finance Hamas' war activities. The IDF also highlighted the role of financiers in Hamas' funding network and their importance in sustaining the organization's capabilities.
