Asia's Heatwave Crisis: Thailand Issues Extreme Heat Warnings.
TL;DR
Thai authorities have issued extreme heat warnings for dozens of provinces, including the capital Bangkok, as temperatures soar to record-breaking levels. The heat has caused power cuts and shortages in Bangladesh and parts of India, and has led to a surge in electricity consumption in Thailand. Residents have been advised to avoid outdoor activities and be wary of the health risks associated with heat stroke. Experts have attributed the extreme weather to climate change.
