Intercepted Food Trucks Fuel Hunger Crisis in Gaza, UN Reports

The UN Palestinian refugee agency, UNRWA, has reported that hungry crowds in Gaza are intercepting aid trucks and taking the food for themselves, making it nearly impossible to continue delivering aid. The World Food Programme has stated that half of Gaza's population is starving due to Israel's military assault and the resulting supply shortages. The situation has become increasingly difficult, with people going days without food and aid deliveries being hindered by large crowds. Despite efforts to increase aid inspection capacity, deliveries remain far below pre-conflict levels.
