"Trickle of Aid Enters Gaza as Israel-Hamas Truce Holds"

Aid groups warn that the Gaza Strip is on the brink of a full-scale humanitarian crisis as the truce between Israel and Hamas enters its sixth day. While more humanitarian aid has been allowed into Gaza during the truce, it is still insufficient to meet the critical needs of the population. The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees estimates that 200 trucks of aid are needed daily over a two-month period, but currently only about 150 trucks are entering Gaza per day. The war has devastated Gaza, with thousands dead and injured, and supplies of food, fuel, and water scarce.
