Wagner's Recruitment Plans on Hold as Prigozhin Shifts Focus to Africa and Belarus

The head of the Wagner mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced that the group is currently not recruiting new fighters but will continue its activities in Africa and Belarus. Wagner fighters have been involved in Russia's invasion of Ukraine and a recent mutiny against Russia's military leadership. Prigozhin stated that the group is deciding on future tasks for the "greatness of Russia" and that they will be active in Africa and at training centers in Belarus. He also mentioned that there are no restrictions on fighters transferring to other Russian power structures.
