Belarus allows deployment of Russian tactical nukes.

Russia and Belarus have signed a deal to deploy Russian tactical nuclear missiles on Belarusian territory, with Moscow citing rising tensions with the West as the reason for the move. Ukraine has accused Russia of taking Belarus "hostage" and called the deal "a step towards internal destabilisation" of Belarus. Russia will retain control over the weapons and any decisions on their use. Tactical nuclear weapons refer to lower-yield weapons designed for battlefield use, as opposed to strategic ones capable of wiping out entire cities.
