Belarusian President Lukashenko proposed three-way cooperation between Russia, Belarus, and North Korea, suggesting that Minsk could join Moscow's efforts to revive an old alliance with Pyongyang after this week's summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Russian President Putin, who met with Lukashenko in Sochi, said he would brief him about the talks with Kim. The US and its allies are concerned that Kim may supply ammunition to Russia for use in Ukraine in exchange for advanced weapons or technology, violating UN sanctions.
