China Urges Ceasefire in Israel-Hamas Conflict

China has called for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict and urged the establishment of an independent State of Palestine. The Chinese foreign ministry emphasized the need for implementing the two-state solution and expressed concern over the escalating tensions and violence. While not mentioning Hamas, China called on all relevant parties to exercise restraint, protect civilians, and end the hostilities. China's permanent representative to the United Nations also condemned all violence and attacks against civilians.
