"Indonesia Takes Historic Step to Normalize Relations with Israel"
TL;DR
Israel reportedly engaged in secret talks with Indonesia over a period of three months, resulting in an agreement for Indonesia to establish official relations with Israel in exchange for Israel's support for Indonesia joining the OECD. The process is expected to take over two years, with the condition that Indonesia maintains diplomatic relations with all OECD member nations. This development follows Indonesia's participation in an aid drop to Gaza and comes after Israel's normalization of relations with several other nations under the Abraham Accords during the Trump administration.
