Iran's Diplomatic Stance on Israel-Hamas Conflict Revealed

Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, stated that Iran does not want the war in Gaza to spread, but the approach taken by the United States and Israel in the region makes it possible. The US has been providing significant military support to Israel and vetoing UN Security Council resolutions calling for a ceasefire. Despite messages from the US urging self-restraint, Iran warns that if Israeli war crimes continue, a wider conflict could become inevitable. Amir-Abdollahian also noted that the war's scope has already expanded, citing Yemeni attacks on occupied territories and Hezbollah's involvement. Palestinian resistance groups have not requested Iran's intervention as they possess their own missile and drone capabilities.
