Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has questioned whether Russia's invasion of Ukraine should be called a "war," stating that there was no declaration of war between the two countries. Orban, who has faced criticism for his close relations with Russia and attempts to undermine support for Ukraine, blocked the EU's financial aid package for Ukraine last week. Despite previously referring to Russia's invasion as a "military operation," Orban stated that he is willing to use the word "war" when discussing the issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
