Poland Prime Minister Raises Alarm Over Wagner Fighters Advancing Towards E.U. Gateway

Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has expressed concern over the movement of more than 100 Wagner Group mercenaries towards the Suwałki Gap, a strategically important area on the Poland-Lithuania border. He warned that this could be a step towards a hybrid attack on Polish territory and suggested that the mercenaries may be planning to assist illegal migrants in crossing the border. However, there have been no reports of significant numbers of Wagner fighters in the region, and it is possible that they are training with the Belarusian military.
