Fighters from Russia's Wagner mercenary group are reportedly training soldiers in Belarus, according to the Belarusian defense ministry. The training took place at a military range near the town of Osipovichi. This comes after Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko helped broker a deal to end a brief armed mutiny by Wagner in June. Under the deal, Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin agreed to move to Belarus in exchange for Russia dropping mutiny charges. Meanwhile, a man has been jailed in Ukraine for plotting with Russia to disrupt foreign arms supplies by blowing up transport infrastructure.
