Seoul Contemplates Sanctions on Russia for North Korea Military Ties

South Korea is considering imposing unilateral sanctions against Russia due to concerns of military cooperation between Russia and North Korea following a recent summit. South Korea has previously imposed unilateral sanctions on North Korea for its nuclear and missile activities, but has only participated in international sanctions against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine. South Korea's Foreign Minister warned that any agreement related to arms trade between North Korea and Russia would be a serious threat to security and peace on the Korean Peninsula, and called for a halt to such activities.
