The Devastating Toll of the Ukraine-Russia Conflict: Over 25,000 Troop Losses Confirmed.

African leaders visiting Russia have urged President Vladimir Putin to take the "path to peace" and end the war in Ukraine, which they say is having a negative impact on the African continent and other countries around the world. The delegation, which includes the presidents of South Africa, Senegal, Zambia, and the Comoros, as well as Egypt’s prime minister and top envoys from the Republic of Congo and Uganda, arrived in Russia's second-largest city after a visit to Ukraine, where they held talks with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on June 16. Putin said he welcomed the "African friends’ balanced attitude to the Ukraine crisis" and that he appreciated their "interest in finding a solution to the conflict."
