Ukraine urges India to increase involvement in ending war and reduce dependence on Russia.

Ukraine's deputy foreign minister, Emine Dzhaparova, has urged India to play a bigger role in helping to end Russia's war during her first visit to India since the conflict began last year. Dzhaparova hopes Indian officials, including National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, will visit Kyiv and has urged India to use its presidency of the Group of 20 leading rich and developing nations to spotlight the crisis in Ukraine. India has refrained from condemning Russia's role in the war and has expressed its willingness to contribute to peace efforts.
