"US and Israel Deny Involvement in Airstrikes in Eastern Syria"
TL;DR
The United States has denied carrying out airstrikes in Syria after Syrian and Iranian state media reported dawn airstrikes in the country's east, allegedly killing one civilian and at least seven soldiers. The attack in Deir el-Zour left 19 soldiers and 13 civilians injured, with significant property damage. Iranian-backed forces in the region have previously targeted US soldiers, prompting occasional US raids against Iran-linked targets.
