The US will support a joint international effort to train Ukrainian pilots to fly modern fighter jets, while the UK has banned imports of Russian diamonds and copper, nickel, and aluminium. Ukraine has repelled attacks by Russian forces and destroyed 19 drones and missiles. Russia has sanctioned former US President Barack Obama and put the British prosecutor of the international criminal court on a wanted list. Putin has accused the west of trying to break up Russia, while more than 100,000 people have enlisted in the Russian army this year.
