Zelensky's Concerns Over Gaza Conflict Distracting from Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denied that the war with Russia had reached a stalemate and rejected suggestions that Western countries were pressuring Ukraine to enter negotiations with Russia. Zelensky also stated that the conflict in Gaza was diverting attention away from Ukraine, which he believed was Russia's goal. Despite the challenges, Zelensky expressed confidence in overcoming the situation and reiterated the support of Ukraine's backers, including the United States, in defeating Russia. EU Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen visited Kyiv to discuss Ukraine's progress toward joining the EU and proposed an additional 50 billion euros in funding for Ukraine until 2027.
