Israel claims Hezbollah tunnel network knocked out in southern Lebanon, tremor recorded

Israel says it destroyed a Hezbollah tunnel network beneath the Ali al-Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, claiming the operation gives it full control of the ridge and seized Iranian-built weapons and a Hezbollah command center. A U.S. Geological Survey measured a 4.1-magnitude tremor in the area after Lebanon reported a massive explosion. Some militants were killed or forced from the area as fighting has intensified following a recent lull, with Beirut saying Israeli strikes have killed more than 4,300 people since March.
