"Uncertainty Surrounds Hamas Chief Amid Deadly Israeli Strikes in Gaza"
TL;DR
Israeli security agencies are uncertain if Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif was killed in a July 13 airstrike, though they believe it is unlikely he survived. The attack also killed Deif's associate, Rafa Salama, and at least 90 Palestinians. Meanwhile, Israel, the US, and the UAE are secretly planning to transfer control of Gaza to a multinational force led by the UAE, which could allow Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to declare victory over Hamas.
