The F-16 Factor in the Russia-Ukraine Conflict.

The Ukrainian air force is set to receive F-16 fighters from the Netherlands, which will significantly boost its defensive and offensive capabilities against Russian air-defenses. The F-16s will allow the Ukrainian air force to shoot High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles (HARMs) in the mode that lends the missile the greatest accuracy, which could have huge implications for Ukraine’s long-anticipated 2023 counteroffensive. The F-16s are fully compatible with the latest aerial munitions, including GPS-guided Joint Direct Attack Munition bombs and AIM-120 air-to-air missiles.
