Exclusion of Russia and Iran from Munich Security Conference Sparks Controversy

The Munich Security Conference, scheduled for February 16-18, will not include government officials from Russia and Iran, as well as representatives from certain German political parties. Approximately 50 leaders and 100 ministers are expected to participate in the event, where senior security policy-makers will discuss current and future challenges. The head of the forum, Christoph Heusgen, stated that Russian and Iranian leaders have shown no serious readiness to engage in talks, leading to their exclusion from the conference.
