Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, praising Russia's economic strength and low unemployment rates. He also claimed that Ukraine had no chance of winning the war and warned of the danger of NATO being further drawn into the conflict. Putin confirmed that nuclear warheads had been sent to Belarus and criticised Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, calling him a "disgrace" to the Jewish people. Putin also discussed defence spending, the US-Russia relationship, climate policy, and the freezing of Russian assets.
