JUICE mission sets off to study Jupiter's icy moons.

The Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) has launched from French Guiana to explore three of Jupiter's largest moons - Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa - which scientists believe could support living organisms. The mission, led by the European Space Agency, will investigate the moons' icy surfaces, which are thought to hide huge oceans of water, a crucial ingredient for life. JUICE will have 10 state-of-the-art instruments on board and is expected to reach Ganymede's orbit by 2034. If one or more of Jupiter's moons are found to host life, the "logical next step" would be to send a mission to land on the surface.
